Hello! I am Joe Faina, a comedian, college professor, and writer based in Los Angeles, CA.
I’ve been doing stand up comedy for more than 15 years and can often be found performing in clubs, theaters, and many many bars around Southern California. Comedy legend Paula Poundstone once described my jokes as “fucking funny!”
I also work full time as a college and university professor, teaching courses in communication, rhetoric, and mass media. I have a PhD in Rhetoric from the University of Texas and have published several scholarly works on rhetoric, mass media, and popular culture.
